FIWEAR Inc. ("we") sets out below how personal information is handled in the FIWEAR virtual try-on SDK and on this website (fiwear.jp).
1. Information we collect
We collect the following information.
- Company name, name, email address and message provided when you contact us
- Photos uploaded when using the try-on feature, and body data generated from those photos
- Website usage data (access time, pages viewed, browser type, IP address, etc.)
2. Purposes of use
- Responding to inquiries, sending materials and information
- Generating avatars and displaying try-on results
- Providing size recommendation and product selection support
- Creating statistical data and providing it as an analytics service for e-commerce operators
- Providing personal data to e-commerce operators with your consent (see Section 5)
- Improving service quality and investigating defects
3. Handling of photos and body data
Uploaded photos are deleted within 2 weeks after avatar generation is complete. Body data generated from photos is retained for as long as needed to provide the try-on feature and deleted promptly upon your request.
Photos and body data are never used for ad delivery or ad optimization.
4. Creation and provision of statistical data
From the body, product and purchase data we collect, we create statistically processed data from which no individual can be identified and provide it as an analytics service for e-commerce operators.
Statistical data contains no personally identifiable information and is processed so that individuals cannot be identified even when matched against other information.
5. Provision of personal data to e-commerce operators
Only with your consent, we provide personal data such as body data and purchase data to e-commerce operators that have adopted our service. Consent is obtained individually when you use the try-on feature, after showing you the recipient, the data items and the purpose of use.
You can use the try-on feature itself without giving consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time; upon withdrawal, we stop further provision.
When personal data is provided, we create and retain records of the date, recipient and items provided, as required by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
6. Other third-party provision
Except as set out in Sections 4 and 5 or as required by law, we do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent.
7. External services
We use the following external services to operate this website. Their handling of information follows each provider's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (website delivery) — your IP address and similar data pass through their network. Privacy Policy
- Google LLC (Google Fonts) — loading fonts transmits your IP address and similar data to Google. Privacy Policy
We currently use no analytics tools or advertising services. If we start using them, we will update this page.
8. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for browsing. If cookies become necessary for external services, we will update this page.
9. Security
We take necessary and appropriate measures to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, loss, alteration and leakage.
10. Disclosure, correction and deletion
Upon request, we will disclose, correct, suspend the use of or delete the personal information we hold. Please contact us at the address below.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page.
